A recent blog post by Brian Cassidy (via a Book Patrol post) has a neophyte bookseller reminiscing about his first year by posting 18 things he has learned about bookselling over the first year in business. After failing in the business in a year and a half, I have two simple observations:
- Run away!
- Run very far away!
To paraphrase the Bard: "Bitterness is a dish best served amongst friends..."
