CEOs For Hire

It is time for all good people to take the reins and bring sanity back to the world of business. Over and over we are seeing news stories about CEOs, with the blessings of their Boards of Directors, dragging companies into oblivion while being rewarded with multi-million dollar severance packages. We, the American customer/employee/shareholder, must take a stand, and stand we do.

My wife and I formally offer our services as a CEO team for any company that needs talent and wants change. We will work for a flat salary plus whatever an employee would normally get for benefits. We will work for one year, after which we will sit down with the Board of Directors to discuss what will happen next. No special severance packages and no special fringe benefits. Our thought is that a combined salary ten times the highest salary paid in the company, but capped at $1,000,000, would be fair compensation. This would have saved Home depot something like $300,000,000 or so, probably with better results (we are extremely confident people.)
